CMA and CME class on Sunday

Please make sure that you come to class on Sunday 2nd June.

Bring a hardcopy of your presentation report. This is the final day for giving them to me.
Make sure that you have uploaded everything on to your blog and that your URL is working.
Bring you laptop to class and be prepared to show me your blog and discuss it.
Two students have to still do presentations.

I will get the grades up on Monday.
If there is a problem about a grade - eg  a zero when you have done it (not just whinging for a higher grade!) you may see me about it in class on Tuesday or Wednesday. Please do not come to my desk as I am often not there as I am doing make-up classes.

CME
Zayed and Hassan you will be filmed on Tuesday at 4:00. Please be in the class at the latest by 3.30!!!
Saeed I would very much like you to be filmed then also.

Have your prepared for your presentation?

I am very aware that many students have ot prepared at all for their final presentation. Today I am going to put a D mark into the gradebook for everyone so that they can see what their final mark will be if they do not prepare.

Of course, it could be even lower! I gave a zero for a presentation last week - the student was an excellent Englsih speaker but he just had not prepared at all and did not know the subject.

I also gave 4 100%s.

Prepare, prepare, prepare!!!!

·         There will be no extensions. The supervisor needs the marks in.

Hi Everyone

Please place a hardcopy of your PowerPoint presentation in the correct box on my desk today.

You must do this even if you have not done your presentation yet.

Please be in class next class to do your report.(5%)

I will grade when I have all the PowerPoints.

Also, show me at least three sources for your final PowerPoint presentation.

Please upload everythng including your PowerPoints to your blog.

I will be checking in the next class. Some of you have still not given me a URL - please do so if you do not want to get 0% for your portfolio.

Final Presentation - start preparing this week

Hi Everyone

I am afraid that I will not be back for most of this week.

Please make sure that you are completely prepared to give your presentation next Sunday. You must have your PowerPoint on a USB and be ready before the class starts.

Please start preparing the PowerPoint for your final presentation which is worth 35 % of your final mark.
